Welcome to JaneMarch.net - Jane March's FanSite

Jane March was born in Edgware, London on 20 March 1973. Her father, Bernard is of mixed English and Spanish heritage and her mother Jean is half Vietnamese and half-Chinese. This usual genetic combination gave Jane a unique beauty, and not surprisingly she turned to modelling at a young age. She won a local "Become a Model" contest at the age of 14, and became a print model a year later.

Jane started her acting career when she was spotted on the cover of Just Seventeen by Jean-Jacques Annaud, who was casting for his film L'Amant(The Lover), and like her look. Jane had no acting experience but was cast for the lead part of The Young Girl. The movie was adapted from an autobiographical novel by Marguerite Duras, and was nominated for a Academy Award for Best Cinematography. The film is noted for several sexually explicit scenes and rumours, that were not denied at the time by the director, of real sexual acts. This which led to Jane be nicknamed as 'The Sinner from Pinner' (Pinner being the London area she grew up, however there were several body doubles used in the film and the rumours were untrue and left to circulate to help the publicity of the film.

Jane's other most noted film is the 'Color of Night' which she filmed opposite Bruce Willis in 1994, the film was panned by the critic's but March's smouldering and mysterious performance was good enough to deflect the critciism away from her. Jane also met her husband on the shot, the 35 year old film producer and multi-millionaire, Carmine Zozzora. They married during a 8-hour break from the shooting of the film in the Dream-Maker wedding chapel in Lake Tahoe on June 14 1993. Bruce Willis was best man and Demi Moore was the maid of honour. However, the marriage didn't last, they seperated in 1997 and finally divorced in 2001.
